Maria Island

While working as a bushwalking guide on Maria Island I made countless trips during the season. After each trip I would feel a growing connection and appreciation for the island. In the beginning, I considered bringing my camera to document each trip, but felt this would be too much of a distraction while trying to manage guests. Alternatively, I decided to visit the Island after the guiding season had finished solely to take photographs.
